Sherman
23, male.
Lazy, quiet, not bright enough, selfish, clumsy......
Yet he loves to make sounds,
as he's always drown in memories.

12 dog cycle
Alice Hui-Sheng Chang (Taiwan) and Nigel Brown (Australia)
create sound in performance and recordings as 12 dog cycle.
They pair the breathing limitations of piano accordion and human voice,
extending the voice through extreme unconventional technique
and the accordion’s acoustic properties with live electronic manipulation.
In performance, accordion tones borrowing from the drone
and minimalist pattern music traditions fill
and modulate the space inhabited by the audience.
The sound begins as a physical byproduct of the performers exertion,
but over time becomes a disembodied harmonic presence within the room.
In contrast, the voice is mobile and distinctly human.
While the accordion defines and modulates the performance space,
the voice is the event; the tour guide through time
that provides the audience with an entrance and an exit.
Edwin Lo
sound artist, field recordist
and phonographer from Hong Kong.
Through different experiments on sound
whatever in computer or in recording process
Edwin Lo tries to think sound as an object of desire,
as haunting memories and experiences,
and articulation of our consciousness
and awareness on listening.
Dragonfly Thoughts
And the dragonfly came into existence...
To live just one single day...
But what to be beautiful for?
Delicate sounds cruelly intruded by naughty clashes...
Aim within no aim, form without form, words without any words...
From a perfectly clear form chaos is born, the delicate melody in the nick of time stops being systematic. Analysis and synthesis, creation and destruction. What seems to have an aim turns out to be practically pointless. The unpredictable mixture of opposing sounds becomes a structure, takes a pre-determined direction... to, just after a moment, head into the unnamed and undiscovered spaces of the artists' sound imagination...
Reality combined with the fog of the inner experiences, considerations of the dragonfly's existence, the contemplation of her thoughts, the creation of a new, more personal one...

An on bast
Anna Suda, a music-maker from Poznan/ Poland.
She produces "delicate synthetic music" as she likes to call it
- rather downtempo idm full of soundscapes,
melodies, texts spoken with glitches,
bleeps and everything in between.
The main idea is to follow a particular sound
and to be chosen by it not to choose.
It's a very delicate process
during which a music-maker allows the sound itself
to determine the way it is played.
It's all mixed with Henri Bergson's metaphysics,
literature of Hermann Hesse, music by Autechre, Mozart, Arvo Part.
Allca
My world is like continually searching for sound,
which would embrace the moment and be able to describe it..
stop the time for while and let me recognize the truth inside me.
Mostly there is different shades of black,
abandoned memmories which I'm reaching only when I'm creating.
My music is often too personal to let someone to hear it,
so sometimes I'm asking myself where is the point
in writing,playing,singing..
But the answer is always the same-
if I did not ,I wouldn't be able to breathe.
