combine experimental music with traditional singing.
The artists try to find an optimal connection between
tradition and avant-garde keeping the identity of the both
and at the same time they seek for common features
in the structures of music, rhythm and sound.
The axis of kr39’s first project called “In_between”
are traditional songs associated with major events in the human life:
birth, wedding and funeral.
The artists performed for the first time at “Common Energy” concert
which took place at the Studio of Radio Lublin on the 23rd of October 2009.
“In between” was created in cooperation with “Crossroads” Centre
and “Muzyka Kresów” Foundation.
